A free webinar designed to cut through the confusion about protein and help people meet their nutrition goals through real food, will be held later this month.

With new research showing that many women over 45 are not getting enough high-quality protein, ‘The Truth About Protein’ webinar will explore how a food-first approach, and how the simple addition of something like a high protein yogurt to any meal or as a snack to support daily protein intake, can have significant impacts on muscle strength, bone health, appetite, hormone function and energy levels.

Webinar attendees will learn practical tips on how to pair protein with healthy fats and fibre to manage blood sugar, cravings, and energy, particularly during perimenopause and menopause.

A 60kg adult needs around 48–72g of protein per day; a 75kg active adult might need 75–90g or more. Women over 45 often need at least 20–30g of protein per meal, depending on weight and activity level.

The webinar is free and open to all, and everyone who registers will receive a free recipe ebook, ‘The Art of Clean Protein’, packed with creative and delicious ways to boost protein intake. The upcoming webinar marks the arrival of Glenisk’s High Protein Lactose-Free Yogurt Range which offers more than 50g of protein per pot, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a clean, satisfying source of protein.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, June 25th at 7pm and is hosted by TV and radio presenter Anna Daly, featuring expert guidance from award-winning dietitian Sarah Keogh. Follow Glenisk on Instagram or Facebook for more information.
