2025 marks the 75th year of the Volkswagen brand in Ireland. In 1950, the first ever Beetle manufactured outside of Germany was assembled on Shelbourne Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin, marking the brand’s beginning in the Irish market.
Since then, Volkswagen has enjoyed phenomenal success, disrupting the market with each new model and solidifying itself as a part of Irish life and families through many generations.
To commence year-long celebrations of this significant anniversary, Volkswagen Ireland have released special edition trims as part of their 251 model lineup for customers. ‘Edition 75’ trim is available across a range of models, such as Tiguan, Golf, and T-Roc, and a limited edition R-Line trim, ‘R-line 75’ across Polo, Taigo, T- Roc and Tiguan. These bespoke trims offer customers excellent value for money with added specifications and options as standard.
In further celebration of 75 years in Ireland, Volkswagen have launched 251 offers starting from 0% finance* across the range in collaboration with Volkswagen Finance Services.
Available on models such as the iconic Golf through to Ireland’s best-selling electric vehicle, the ID.4 SUV, Volkswagen Ireland is committed to driving continued EV adoption in Ireland and are already preparing for an extremely successful year in the BEV market for 2025.
