A new video to help people emerging from lockdown in Mitchelstown has been released on social media.
The video, which was a collaborative effort of Ballyhoura Development, Mitchelstown Age Friendly committee and local businesses in the town is designed to help the elderly navigate the challenging new reality on shop floors.
The six minute video takes former cocooners through the process of sanitisation in shops and in the post office, it also shows what can be expected for visitors with the new social distancing regime.
The video was made with the help of locals Hannah Casey, Kathleen Griffin, Cllr Kay Dawson and the staff in Farrell’s SuperValu, An Post and Mitchelstown Credit Union Ltd.
