The entrance of a property is a person’s first impression and can be the difference as to whether the property is safe and secure or not.
With automated electric gates, barriers, mag locks and more, you can ensure that ideal first impression is made, that the property is secure and provides convenience and ease of access for users.
Munster Entrance Systems offers the whole package when it comes to ensuring your property is safe, secure and well presented. Owner Anthony Lillis, explained that they offer automatic gates, barriers and access control, providing installations, repairs and maintenance, along with custom gates designed and supplied, and more.
With a wealth of experience and over ten years in the industry, Anthony said that he noted a gap in the market which he hopes that Munster Entrance Systems can fill.
“Over the last ten years, I was working for two leading Cork security companies, specialising as a gate automation engineer for both. I kept hearing the same complaints from people: that I was the fourth or fifth engineer to call, that people kept calling and not returning, not doing the work or doing substandard work. I saw an opening for a good, reliable gate engineer, having seen first-hand the shortage of engineers,” he said.
Working in tandem with local metal fabricators, Anthony is keen to bring his knowledge, experience and high-quality work to the region, as he noted the use of electric gates and security systems are on the rise, not just in businesses and commercial properties, but also in private properties and homes.
“There is a rise in use in private properties. Automated gates are a common thing now at most houses. Security systems in general are on the rise, everyone is fitting them. What I notice with gates is that if people don’t have automated gates, the gates are wide open all the time. Properties should be properly secured and security systems do need to be maintained, and I’m here to help. I offer the whole lot, from repairs to retrofits to new installations”.
CUSTOM DESIGNS
Munster Entrance Systems are happy to help with custom designs.
“Gates are the first impression a property gives, and I am happy to discuss custom gate designs with clients. If they have a vision, we can make that a reality. I work with a host of fabricators, and each one brings something different to the table,” Mr Lillis said.
On a previous project, he worked alongside Kevin Roche of Conway Engineering, a Glanworth native and good friend, in creating a special memorial piece, incorporating carefully crafted butterflies into the gates to memorialise the late wife of the property owner.
“She loved butterflies. It was a custom piece, and it’s very sentimental. I tied in with Conway Engineering in Fermoy to do those, with Kevin Roche. Kevin made a butterfly themed gate, and I did the automation of it. I try to work with local people where possible, Kevin Roche and I are both from Glanworth originally and went to school together, so we work really well together,” Mr Lillis added.
For those seeking to upgrade existing gates after a repair or retrofit, Munster Entrance Systems can also provide a ‘refresh’ with cleaning and painting on request.
Free quotations are now on offer for all new system installations and can be provided within 7 days of request.
For those seeking callouts for repair and maintenance jobs, Mr Lillis offers a quick response time with efficient, timely work following.
