Ms Janice McConnell has been appointed General Manager of the Midleton Park Hotel, with responsibility for the overall running and success of the hotel.
The Midleton Park Hotel, which has recently been awarded its four-star status, is part of the Talbot Collection.
The hotel boasts 79 superbly appointed modern bedrooms, bar, restaurant, extensive conference and banqueting facilities as well as a hugely popular Leisure club.
Ms McConnells’ previous experience includes over 17 years of expertise in hospitality sector including a selection of Managerial roles within Jurys Doyle Group plc.
Janice holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies & Hotel Management from the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology & Higher Diploma, CIPD from UCC
NEW AREA SALES & MARKETING MANAGER
Ms Amy Horgan has been appointed as Area Sales & Marketing Manager of the two Cork four-star Talbot Collection hotels, the Oriel House Hotel & Leisure Club and Midleton Park Hotel.
In her new role Ms Horgan is responsible for the business development, digital and social media marketing and sales strategies for both hotels.
Ms Horgan joined the team at the Midleton Park Hotel as Sales & Marketing Executive in 2012 and was quickly promoted to Sales & Marketing Manager in 2013.
As a result of her proven success heading up the Sales & Marketing department at the Midleton Park Hotel the Talbot Collection made the decision to appoint Amy as the area manager for the two Cork hotels in their collection.
Amy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Cork Institute of Technology, and a Masters in Marketing from the National University of Ireland Galway.
In August, Ms Horgan also completed a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing with the Digital Marketing Institute.
