Tributes have been paid to a local construction worker who died as a result of injuries sustained in a fall at Kildorrery National School.
Brian McGrath from Stag Park, Mitchelstown fell through a roof at the school while carrying out repairs recently. He was rushed to hospital but failed to recover from his injuries.
Mr McGrath is survived by his wife Annie and children Katie, Kiera and Tyler. Sadly missed by his loving family, his father Ted, father-in-law Bertie, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends to whom we extend our sympathy.
Reposal was at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown on Saturday and following requiem Mass on Sunday, Brian was laid to rest in Brigown New Cemetery, Mitchelstown.
May he rest in peace.
