The enterprise town concept is something that Bank of Ireland are closely associated with and building on last year's success, the Bank of Ireland branch in Fermoy set about hosting a community/business expo aimed at profiling the town as a vibrant economic and social centre. 

The expo took place in Loreto Sports Complex, Fermoy last Friday evening with over 100 exhibitors availing of the opportunity to promote themselves. 

The expo was formally opened by Deputy Mayor of County Cork, Cllr. Frank O'Flynn, speical guest, Rachel Allen and event co-ordionator, David Sheehan – Bank of Ireland branch manager in Fermoy. Cllr O'Flynn said it was encouraging to see the level of support the expo had generated.
