Toyota Ireland has been awarded another impressive title at the 2021 What Van? Awards, with the Toyota Proace City named as the Compact Van of the Year.
The newest addition to the Toyota commercial range, the Toyota Proace City is a competitive and appealing addition to the Light Duty Van (LDV) segment, the new vehicle has expanded Toyota’s product coverage across the LCV market.
The What Van? Awards are widely regarded as one of UK and Ireland’s most highly regarded awards for the light commercial vehicle industry. The judging panel, which is made up of a selection of industry experts who use their invaluable experience to decide the nominees across eight different manufacturer categories.
Highly commended for its design and practicality, the Proace City was praised for its smart storage solutions and practical features.
Having launched in Ireland in late 2020, the new Toyota Proace City has already made a significant impact in the market and has been celebrated for its reliability and affordability.
The Proace City showcases best-in-class features such as its 1 tonne payload capacity; and with both the long and short wheelbases can accommodate up to two euro pallets.
The Proace City also benefits from equipment specifications that promote a comfortable driving environment and improved practicality including touchscreen functions allowing access to Apple CarPlay (including Siri assistant) and Android Auto (including Google assistant).
Commercial drivers can also benefit from Toyota Professional, the service which supports drivers and businesses’ with a variety of exclusive services such as roadside assistance, extended opening hours, priority service booking within 48 hours, CVRT test arrangements and, where possible, a replacement van if required.
