Ireland’s most watched daytime show Today with Maura and Dáithí, which is broadcast live from RTÉ Cork, returns today Monday, September 23 for a brand new season.
Presenters Maura Derrane and Dáithí Ó Sé will bring their infectious blend of fun to brighten everyones afternoon and this season will feature celebrity interviews along with extraordinary stories from ordinary people, fashion, cookery, travel and more.
As well as a brand new set this season there will be new roving reporters as part of the team. Presenter Bláthnaid Treacy will join Pat Fitzpatrick on the couch each Thursday to discuss all the latest entertainment news.
Other new reporters include Keith Walsh and Ciara King as well as returning reporters Brenda Donohue, James Patrice and Trishauna Archer.
Colm Crowley, Head of Production, RTÉ Cork said: “Today with Maura and Dáithí is beginning its eighth season of broadcasting from RTÉ Cork studio and it’s sure to liven up the afternoons with plenty of craic, celebrity interviews and real life stories.
“With over 160 shows to make, it’s a mammoth task, but Maura and Dáithí are primed and ready to go. This season we introduce a new look set and there will be plenty of new items all designed to entertain and delight our audiences each and every day.”

Mark Rodgers, beauty expert to the stars along with hair stylist Pam Morrissey will perform life enhancing makeovers for some of our viewers.
The daily panels return with more rambunctious chat and there will also be the latest trends and fashion with expert stylists. And the ever popular Book Club is back too with over 5,500 subscribers.
