World-class food and nutrition business Tirlán has launched its new ‘Unearth Your Future’ Graduate Programme, with a wide range of opportunities offering unrivalled career progression prospects.

The new two-year programme is recruiting across a range of disciplines and the company, formerly known as Glanbia Ireland, has extensive experience in delivering flexible, exciting graduate programmes that offer continuous development. The graduates will join the company in September each year, and recruitment is currently underway for up to 40 hires in 2023.

From its base in the south-east of Ireland, the €3 billion business brings a diverse portfolio of quality dairy and plant-based ingredients, leading agri brands and consumer brands to the global marketplace. With 11 high-tech dairy and grain processing facilities, 52 agri retail branches and over 2,100 employees, Tirlán is embedded in its communities.

Structured programme

Successful Graduate Programme applicants will enjoy rotations that will deliver learning and exposure to the business through on-demand and structured learning. The two-year programme also provides all the structures graduates need to grow their career, including personalised development planning, access to coaching, mentoring and individual wellness planning.

The programme includes significant learning opportunities with senior leadership, including spotlight events and the opportunity to showcase their learnings through the annual Tirlán Graduate Summit.

Agribusiness Associate and University College Dublin Agricultural Science graduate, Alexander Nulty, began the programme in September of last year.

“I’ve learnt so much since I’ve started – in everything from customer service to farm advice, to animal nutrition. The opportunities are endless and they are there to be grasped. You get to meet people here who will help you throughout your life. I really enjoy working with people and the continuous opportunities each day to learn and grow,” he said.

The company has a strong global footprint with a market presence in the UK, France, Germany, UAE, the US, North Africa, Japan and China. For more information on the programme, visit www.tirlan.com/tirlan-graduate-programme
