Avondhu Blackwater Partnership is hoping to inspire and invigorate the public, encouraging their involvement in the planning and aesthetic development of the local community, with its conference 'Tidier Towns - The Way Forward', in the Corrin Event Centre on Wednesday, February 12th.

This week the local development company announced that it has secured local man Peter Kelly - aka 'Franc', to act as MC for the conference. Nor will he be the only well known face at the event, as well known gardener and television presenter Diarmuid Gavin is one of the guest speakers.
