With Thursday night next (Nov 14) being the opening night, The Palace Players are putting the final touches to their hilarious comedy, 'They Will Be Done' by Patrick Carey. Proceeds from the opening night will got to Marymount Hospice so your support would be appreciated for this very worthy cause. A reduced ticket price of €10/8 is on offer for the opening night (€12/10 all other nights). The play runs from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 inclusive so secure your ticket today!

Judging by the fun during rehearsals, this should prove to be one of the funniest plays to be staged by the group in over 20 years. Directed by Liam Howard, the cast includes John O'Doherty, Ber O'Sullivan, John Murphy and Paul Finn and this finely-tuned quartet will clearly demonstrate that even after 40 years, bitterness and holding grudges is alive and well in the Griffin household. While this is a very funny piece, there are also some sombre and thought-provoking moments to add to the drama of it all.

Come and enjoy - tickets from The Avondhu office, Fermoy on 025-32227; Cotter's Bar, Kilworth (025-27109 after 5pm); Hyland's Bookshop, Mitchelstown (025-24528) or call 087-6492514.
