The Munster Regional Final of Irish Restaurant Awards 2023 took place in the Limerick Strand Hotel last Wednesday, and brought recognition for a number of businesses in the locality.

The ‘Best Gastro Pub’ award for Cork went to O’Mahony’s of Watergrasshill, while the Farmgate in Midleton took the ‘Best Customer Service’ Award for the county. The Apple Farm, located just outside Cahir, netted the ‘Local Food Hero’ award for Tipperary.

Over 700 business owners and staff celebrated their achievements in the 14th year of the awards. All of the county winners now compete for the Regional and All-Ireland titles, which will be announced in mid-May in Dublin.
