Rehearsals continued over the weekend in Anglesboro for the upcoming play ‘The Kings of Kilburn High Road’ by Jimmy Murphy.
With only just over the week to go, the pressure is on to be ready for live performances commencing Thursday next (21st) through to Sunday, March 24 at 8.15pm nightly.
This story, set in Killburn in ‘the noughties’, provides an insight into the lives of five Irish men who left these shores in the ’70s hoping to ‘make it’ in London and return home to a better life. Thirty years later tells a different story.
‘The Kings of Kilburn High Road’ is a powerful drama that should be seen as it is sure to resonate with young and old audience members.
