Anglesboro village is putting the final touches for the first of two of its Gathering weekends. The local community would love everyone to come along and join them for celebrations on Friday 12 and Saturday, July 13.

On Friday 12, a historical walk of the local community will kick off celebrations at 7pm. The walk will be followed by refreshments in the community hall. At 10pm a Comhaltas session will be hosted in the local Galtee View Bar.

On Saturday 13, the village will launch a historical reenactment 'A Day in The Life of Anglesboro Creamery'. This will provide a taste of what is to come when Anglesboro host their second Gathering later in the year. This will surely be something not to be missed.

This will be followed at 8pm by a special Gathering Mass in St Patrick's Church, Anglesboro and to close out proceeding we will have the one and only Jon Kenny of D’Unbelievables fame hosting a night of comedy in the local village hall with admission only €10. Tickets will sell out fast for this popular comedian and can be purchased in Style Lounge, Mitchelstown, Lane's Shop, Anglesboro or from any one of the local committee members, and on the night at the door.

We hope that everyone near and far can join us in the village for some chat, fun and laughs over the weekend.
