On July 18, Welsh tenor Ryan Morgan will present a programme of 20th century songs in St Mary’s Church, Castletownroche presented by North Cork Classical Music.

On Thursday night, July 18, Welsh tenor Ryan Morgan will present a programme of 20th century songs in St Mary's Church, Castletownroche at 8.15pm in a show entitled 'Bon-bons and Blues'. Presented by North Cork Classical Music, this will be an evening accessible to young and old.

The first half of the programem will have some well known songs from the early 20th century such as Lehar's 'You Are My Hearts Delight' and 'Girls Were Made to Love and Kiss', Romberg's 'Drinking Song' and that old favourite 'Goodbye' by Stoltz among others. The second have will come more up to date with songs like 'Il Mio Cuore Va' ('My Heart Will Go On'), Barlo's 'Il Mondo e Nostro (Rule The World'), Johnson's 'The Power Of Love' as well as a number of songs from the musical 'Le Miserables'. These will be interspersed with some violin solos with the gifted Mary McCague doing the honours.
