There was an air of excitement and celebration in Lismore on Friday afternoon, September 6th, as Taoiseach Leo Varadkar spent a few hours at the local Heritage Centre to officially launch ‘The Lismore Castle Experience’ – a brand new virtual reality exhibition at the centre.

Mr Varadkar took a tour of the newly refurbished centre before addressing the crowd upstairs in the courthouse theatre.

The Taoiseach commended the local people of Lismore and surrounds for their hard work in keeping tourism alive in the ‘Ancient East’.
