A flurry of activity in recent weeks has seen the installation of a 2-storey steel frame on the site of the former EMO O’Regan Filling Station in Rathcormac.
The imposing steel skeleton rises well above the hoarding which encloses the site.
The new service station is located on the outskirts of the village, on the R639, and will no doubt be aiming to capture a share of commuter traffic and passing trade on the old Cork-Dublin thoroughfare, as well as servicing the residents of Rathcormac.
