Supporters of COPE in Fermoy are seeking assistance to raise funds to replace a 10 year old car that has given great service to the facility that cares for people with special needs.

The hard working Ford Galaxy people carrier ferries residents to and from Cork on a weekly basis as well as playing a vital role getting residents to their medical appointments. The workload is now starting to tell on the extensively used vehicle and COPE volunteers hope individuals, clubs, voluntary groups and businesses will assist with plans to replace the car.

Locally, the fundraising drive is being co-ordinated by Ian Fleming (087-8522574) and Denis Crowley (087-9502017). Anyone who feels they may be able to assist is welcome to contact these numbers.
