A request for a pedestrian crossing to be installed along Emmet Street in Fermoy has been made to Fermoy Municipal Authority this week by Cllr Noel McCarthy ‘in the interest of health and safety’.
Speaking at this month’s council meeting in Mitchelstown, Cllr McCarthy said this is a very busy area with traffic.
