Supermac’s/Papa John’s have once again rowed in behind the Festival of the Galtees with a super ‘Create A Pizza’ colouring competition for children.

This is a novel competition where children in three different age categories (0-5, 6-8 and 9+) are invited to create their own pizza from a list of ingredients and when complete, to give it a name.

“There were virtually hundreds of entries last year,” a spokesperson for the festival to be held during the June bank holiday, told The Avondhu this week.

There are some great prizes on offer and the overall winner will have their pizza on sale in the Papa John’s outlet at Lower Cork Street, Mitchelstown for two weeks following the announcement of prizewinners.

The closing date for entries is May 28 and all entries will be displayed in store. The winners will be announced during the Supermac’s/Papa John’s Funday on June 1.

So, pick up an entry form from the store and get colouring!
