The sun shone and the hats and shorts were out in force in Watergrasshill at the weekend for Hillfest 2016.
There was a jam-packed line-up of events across the four days, with something for everyone from sporting events and live music to entertainment, a fun fair, face painting and competitions in photography and colouring.
Hillfest committee member Paul Sharkey told The Avondhu that the weekend was a great success and the fine weather made a huge difference.
“There were thousands of people on the streets, the weather was kind and there was a great carnival atmosphere around Watergrasshill,” he said.
