Sunflower charity fundraiser at Corrin Nature Reserve

A new fundraising effort is to get underway amongst a field of sunflowers at Corrin Nature Reserve this weekend.

Speaking with The Avondhu, Rathcormac local Lorraine Campbell said that the idea first came about after she has seen Kingstown Farm in Cashel raise over €42,000 through their initiative and she ‘fell in love’ with the idea and decided to do something similar on a local level.

“It just makes me smile and makes me happy. It’s lovely at Corrin Nature Reserve,” Lorraine said.
