The Hillside Players, Ardpatrick, are excited to bring you yet another rip roaring production and proudly present on their 22nd year ‘Suite Surrender’ by Michael McKeever.
This is a farcical comedy set in a hotel and spa in Florida in the 1940s. America is at war and two of Hollywood’s biggest stars Claudia McFadden and Athena Sinclair are performing at a benefit night for the troops.
There is only one problem these two stars famously hate each other with even an onstage brawl at the last benefit night. However the hotel manager Mr Dunlap has it all in hand, with the two divas allocated suites at different ends of the hotel and performance times that are well apart. What could possibly go wrong??
The experienced cast includes Pat McGrath, Annette Crowley, John Shanahan, Ciara Moloney, Valerie Carroll, Derek Griffin, Paul Mc Carthy, Hannah Goggin and Helen O’Sullivan and is directed by Tom Murphy. This side splitting comedy is sure to shake off those January blues.
Week one of this production was hugely successful and it returns Wed., 27th January to Sunday, 31st January. It is recommended that you book your seat when phone lines open on Tuesday, 19th January. Lines are open Tuesday to Sunday between 5pm and 7pm on each performance week.
