Four PhD students in Moorepark claimed gold for Fermoy Rowing Club in the Irish Rowing Championships held at the National Rowing Centre in Cork last week.

Four PhD students in Moorepark claimed gold for Fermoy Rowing Club in the Irish Rowing Championships held at the National Rowing Centre in Cork last week. The crew finished first in the Women’s Novice Quad event on Friday, July 10.

The team is comprised of research scholarship students Justine Deming from America, Aine Collins from Ballynoe, Aoife Buggy from Donegal and Jessica Coyne from Kilkenny, with Aoife Quinn as cox and Ray Morrison as coach.
