Scoil Pól, Kilfinane recently hosted the John Paul II Awards, with Sr. Patricia and Ms. Convey working with the diocesan team.
The awards are supported by the Knights of Columbanus and the secondary school was delighted to welcome their representatives and Bishop Brendan Leahy, who presented the awards.
Unfortunately ten recipients were unable to attend the event.
However, on the night there were two recipients of the Bronze medals, two Silver medal recipients, thirty-seven Gold medal recipients and six Papal Cross awards were also presented.
