Limited edition Skechers Performance footwear launches in partnership with cancer foundation
Storm Keating was joined by friend and fitness fanatic Rosanna Davison as well as cancer survivors and oncology nurses to launch the limited edition Skechers Performance GOwalk 3™ footwear collection to support the Marie Keating Foundation.
For each pair of shoes sold, €10 will be donated to the Foundation to support breast cancer awareness campaigns and survivorship programmes, which are provided free of charge to women nationwide.
The limited edition Skechers GOwalk 3™ collection is available at Skechers retail shops nationwide. The footwear line features a black, white and charcoal color pallet with a pink hue weaved in.
Each shoe also includes the iconic breast cancer awareness pink ribbon on the heel. Skechers GOwalk 3™ is available in a slip-on style and it features Skechers Performance’s smooth lining & Goga Mat® technology cushioning footbed for added comfort.
Skechers GOwalk 3 is extremely flexible, offering a more natural and responsive movement. The outsole includes Skechers Performance Goga Pillars™ technology that provides added comfort. A lace up version is also available in the GOwalk 2™ Flash style.
“I’m delighted to be launching the Skechers Performance GOwalk 3™,” said Storm Keating. “Every pair sold will raise valuable funds for the Marie Keating Foundation which is obviously a charity that’s close to my heart. Almost all of us know someone affected by breast cancer, and this is a way you can support critical programs and services that can help women reduce their cancer risk through prevention and improve survival rates through early detection. Plus, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Please go out and get your pair today.”
“We are proud to partner with the Marie Keating Foundation and help their cause in the fight against breast cancer.”
“We are proud to partner with the Marie Keating Foundation and help their cause in the fight against breast cancer,” said Paul Gallagher, Skechers Performance Ireland. “After seeing the success of the Skechers GOwalk™ range over the last two years – which has raised over €30,000 for the Foundation – we wanted to continue our support for a third year. We are pleased to help build awareness surrounding the incredible work the Marie Keating Foundation does, in helping people to prevent cancer, detect it at its earliest stages, and cope with the effects of this terrible disease.”
“We are so grateful for this continued partnership with Skechers Performance, and look forward to the impact this will have in raising awareness and funds as we continue to make a difference in the fight to end breast cancer,” said Linda Keating, Director of Fundraising, the Marie Keating Foundation.
The limited edition Skechers GOwalk 3™ is currently available exclusively in all Skechers retail stores in Ireland and retail for €75.
