In what was a momentous day for Coláiste an Chraoibhín in Fermoy last Friday, Minister Seán Sherlock officially turned the sod on the school’s expansive new €8 million extension.
The building work will be carried out by Sammon Group, with a number of local contractors involved in the construction of the extension.
The work involves the removal of 350 square metres of existing prefabricated structures and the construction of a new 3,846 square metre stand-alone extension to the rear of the school.
