There will be an annual fundraising morning for the Simon Community held on Tuesday next, December 9, in Carmel's Garden Centre in Kilworth.

The morning will start at 10.30am and Rose Hickey will be on hand to give people floral ideas for the festive season. This is a great opportunity for people to see some wonderful demonstrations and to get some inspiration for jazzing up their home this Christmas. All of her beautiful arrangements will be raffled off on the day.

The Simon Community help the homeless and on the day, people can find out more by talking to representatives from the charity who will be on hand.

In the lead up to December 9, Carmel will also be collecting clothes, duvets and other items, which can be dropped into the garden centre before then.

There will be light refreshments on the day and Carmel is looking forward to welcoming people to the garden centre on Tuesday 9th.
