The Q4 e-tron 50 quattro, the highest performance Q4 e-tron within the model range is now on sale for Irish customers. Using the 77kWH battery, (82 kWh gross) that delivers up to 300HP (220 kW of power) and is capable of sprinting from 0 – 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds.

Irish drivers do not have to compromise on driving dynamics combining all-wheel drive technology with the instant response from the electric motor on each axle.

The progressive design represents the brand’s next step in the future of electric mobility. Customers can choose from two body shapes: the sporty SUV or the striking Sportback.

From €69,220, the Q4 e-tron 50 quattro, available only in S line, is capable of charging at a fast charge station with up to 125 kW, taking just 38 minutes to charge from 5% to 80%. With a range up to 481 kilometres on a full charge, the Audi Q4 e-tron 50 is the embodiment of Living Progress.

State-of-the-art thermal management based around two cooling circuits also ensures energy is used to best effect in the compact electric SUVs. The thermal management system aims to get the battery up to the ideal temperature range of around 30 degrees Celsius quickly after it is started and to keep it there until the end of the journey.

This ensures that its full power – and therefore the power of the entire drive system – is available after a short time even in extremely cold conditions. Thanks to the stable thermal conditions, the driver can also call on it repeatedly or charge the battery at an HPC charging terminal with high output.

For even more stringent energy management a highly efficient heat pump is also available as an option for all versions of the Q4 e-tron and the Q4 Sportback e-tron. It rapidly heats and cools the interior using the thermal losses from the electric components and the temperature of the outside air.

It uses eco-friendly CO2 as a refrigerant, which flows through the circuit at high pressure. The heat pump can reduce losses in range caused by usage of the climate control system, especially in winter. Its strengths come to the fore on long drives.

The high-performance SUV is available with a full body paint finish, S line bumpers, S line badging, 20” alloy wheels, Sport suspension and LED interior lights as standard.

Characterised by technological innovation, the Q4 e-tron is unmistakably Audi. This is not only apparent in the progressive design, but also in the standard Audi display and operation concept with a combination of virtual cockpit and extra-large MMI, the augmented reality head-up display, which brings the interface between the virtual and real worlds together for the first time in the compact class.

The Q4 e-tron 50 features the optional Sonos premium sound system. Ten high-performance loudspeakers turn music into an unforgettable experience. Together with the rich bass, the brilliant reproduction means high and low tones can be experienced in their full intensity.

The Audi Q4 e-tron is playing a central role in the electrification strategy here in Ireland providing Irish customers an attractive point of entry into electric premium mobility. The versatile all-rounder has been a hit with Irish drivers with supply outstripping demand since launch.

However, customers who order their Q4 e-tron 50 today, can expect to take delivery and start their journey of electrification from as early as Q2 next year.
