The Voice of Ireland live shows start this weekend on RTE and Castletownroche girl, Shannon Murphy will feature in the opening show. “I’m very excited, I can’t wait” she told The Avondhu this week when we caught up with her as she rehearsed in Dublin for Sunday night’s show.
Shannon revealed that while she’s not at all nervous about performing and indeed relishes the thought, she is nervous about the voting and whether or not she’ll get the all-important support she’ll need to go through to the next stage of the competition.
GIVE THAT VOTE
Shannon is in Dublin for the week, rehearsing. She’s getting to grips with dance movements for her performance on Sunday night. It’s not something she’s used to as she normally performs with her guitar and doesn’t move about the stage. It’s putting her outside her comfort zone she agrees, but she says she’s greatly enjoying the experience. The programme is broadcast on RTE 1 on Sunday night at 6.30pm. Be sure t cast your vote for Shannon.
