Killavullen brothers Jack and Conor Shanahan will represent Ireland in the Honeywell Garrett International Drifting Cup in Australia – an occasion that Jack says they simply can’t wait for.

Conor will be driving an 800hp S13 Silvia Convertible powered by a LS2 fitted with a camshaft and valve springs and a custom GCG/BorgWarner Turbocharger while Jack will be competing in an AE86 which has undergone a full makeover, featuring a forged SR20 with a big GCG turbo with Xtreme clutch.

The power output is approx 600hp, which in the lightweight and nimble AE86 is sure to be a force to be reckoned with.

“We just can’t wait to get there, have a good time and raise the flag,” said Jack. “We will be up against the best drivers in the world, it’s very surreal. I am driving a car that I dream of owning and we’re just looking forward to getting out there. We will prepare ourselves as best we can for the heat, it’s summer over there but we’ll enjoy it and give it all we have,” he said.
