Senior Cluster Manager appointed to it@cork

A new full time Enterprise Ireland supported executive appointment of Senior Cluster Manager has been made at it@cork.

It comes at a time when they continue to develop the existing technology cluster in the south of Ireland and foster collaboration between member companies.

Eoghan O’Mahony will take up the role, which will help to further develop a fully functioning tech cluster in the south west region which services the ICT sector and the companies which support it.

Attracting a lot of inward investment in the southwest region is quickly becoming a centre of excellence for technology and it@cork seek to foster and support policies and actions which will attract the highest levels of talent and foreign direct investment.

Speaking about his new role, Eoghan said: “I am excited and honoured to join it@cork in the role as Senior Cluster Manager and to build on the tremendous work to date of the board. The pace of change in technology is exceptional and with change brings great opportunity. Funding for this role was approved under the Regional Economic Development Fund which is managed by Enterprise Ireland.
