Some of the young musicians who are performing in this year’s Seisiún.

Fermoy Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann held their first Seisuin in the Adair Hall this week.

Playing to a full house the young musicians entertained an audience, which included visitors from America, France, England and beyond. Seisiún continues for the next 5 weeks. The show is a mixture of music, song, dance and story telling.

Admission is only €5 which includes refreshments at the interval. Accompanied children under 12 are free. Tickets available at the door. Reservations can be made at 086 3898162. Don’t forget there are only 5 shows left. Every Monday night 8.30 at the Adair Hall.

Best of luck to Fiona O'Flynn, Lisa Howard and David Roche who  are competing in their respective solo competitions in the Munster Fleadh Cheoil in Killarney this weekend and also Lisa and Ciara Howard, Clodagh Lawton and Laura Daly who are taking part in a senior group competition.
