There will be fashion galore on the catwalk this weekend, as Scoil Pól are set to hold their first fundraiser of the year with a spectacular fashion show this Saturday, October 4.
The Kilfinane school are hoping to raise €5,000 from the night, and from the proceeds, a donation will be given to support St Joseph's Foundation in Charleville, along with the school's Transition Year programme.
"St Joseph's Foundation in Charleville aims to provide people with disabilities with the opportunity to live the life of their choice to their fullest potential and it ties with our social awareness programme for Transition Years. The night will also help to reduce costs for families and to fund modules in Transition Year`," the principal explained.
The fashion show will take place this Saturday in the Charleville Park Hotel featuring plenty fashion, beauty and accessory stalls - a reception with wine and nibbles will welcome guests upon their arrival.
Kilmallock's Niamh Webb O'Rourke of the 'Love Life' beauty and fashion blog will also be MC on the night.
"A really enjoyable night is promised. This is our first fundraiser this year and we are hoping to do something else in the New Year, but all support would be greatly appreciated," principal O'Hara added.
