Sarah Savoy (formerly The Francadians) brings her new band to Kilworth

Sarah Savoy hits the bandstands with her latest and greatest line-up, Sarah Savoy's Hellraising Hayride (formerly The Francadians), living up to her name of the 'Louisiana singer with hell-raising credentials'.

With her Hell-Raising Hayride, Sarah Savoy combines images with those of the Louisiana Hayride, a radio show out of Shreveport, Louisiana, which broadcast from 1948-1960 and featured many of her other major musical influences including Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, and more.

In this new band she holds true to that style, singing and playing the Acadian accordions handmade by her father. Come and enjoy a special treat of Cajun, Country, Honky Tonk and perhaps a bit of Rockabilly thrown in!

Catch her in Kilworth on Monday, March 3. Tickets (€15) from the usual Arts Centre outlets or call 025-32227, 087-6492514 or John on 087-7921771.
