Last week The Avondhu reported how 9-year-old Sarah-Jane Caldwell of Shanballymore had, with the help of her mother, taken on the challenge of fundraising for children who have been hit by the traumatic illness of cancer.

Her aim is to create awareness, raise money and donate her hair to an organisation called the Little Princess Trust - a charity that provides real-hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses.
