Fair play to Santa, he's covering the ground in the build-up to Christmas day. He was in Corbett Court (Kliworth) last Sunday where there was no charge for the visit and a gift. The jury is still out on who pulls a sleigh better - reindeers or dogs? Corbett Court seems to have sided with man's best friend as this particularly friendly and accommodating Santa was accompanied by two prize winning pooches - Sasha and Yogi.
Santa was kept busy all afternoon, listening and noting carefully the various requests - none were too outlandish and of course there was the frequent addition of the much anticipated and much loved 'surprise'. Santa's grotto was beautifully decorated for the occasion and all the children seemed delighted with the experience.
Don't forget the vouchers
Corbett Court operate two very successful restaurants - Kilworth and Charleville. Both cater for a combination of passing trade and special occasions. Proprietor, Declan Corbett is reminding readers that vouchers make great stocking fillers and are readily available in either outlet!
