Saint George’s getting ready for inaugural event

Work has been going on for the past ten days in Mitchelstown where volunteers are preparing the former Saint George’s Church for its first event as an arts and heritage centre.

Tickets for the inaugural event featuring the Lismore Choir and Eamonn Walsh at Saint George’s went on sale last week.

The ‘Voices for Saint George’s’ concert will be held on 18th May and plans to raise much needed funds for a building which is undergoing a major restoration.
