Mitchelstown’s Shane Ronayne is set to take on a new challenge as he will manage the Waterford footballers.
The announcement was made this week by the Waterford Board and will see the hugely successful leader take on the task of improving the Division Four side.
Last year he announced his departure from his hugely accomplished tenure as the Tipperary Ladies footballers.
During his time with the county side, Shane brought them four national titles having taken over an intermediate side playing Division 3 football in 2017.
