With the new primary school nearing completion in Rathcormac it remains for the road outside the new school gate, which is the property of Rathcormac Community Council, to be taken in charge by Cork County Council and declared a public road.

The matter is due before the next Fermoy area committee meeting of Cork County Council, to be held on Tuesday next, March 19.

Cllr Kevin O’Keefe has a motion before the meeting calling for the takeover process to be initiated.
