Brian Boru Square, Fermoy was thriving on Friday last, as The Hub was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Marking five months to the day of its first-ever social evening, there was a strong turnout to witness the local amenity officially opened and to celebrate its success to date.
Supported by the Cork Mental Health Foundation, The Hub is a social space that supports and promotes positive mental health. Brendan McCarthy, CEO of Cork Mental Health Foundation wished all those involved, particularly Kilworth’s Kevin McCormack and the volunteers (known as hosts), luck going forward.
