R’evelyn Pleasure claims Novice Chase win at Fairyhouse for O’Brien

R’evelyn Pleasure may have benefitted from the final fence fall of leader Getaway Kid in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Rated Novice Chase at Fairyhouse last weekend, but trainer Sean O’Brien said he deserved his little bit of luck.

The family-owned horse trailed by three parts of a length advantage to Getaway Kid but the leader crashed out at the final obstacle leaving R’evelyn Pleasure, under Donagh Meyler, to edge out Agent Boru on the run-in and score a half length win.

Speaking to The Avondhu, Sean O’Brien said “I fancied him going to Limerick but he didn’t jump well down there. He missed the start and was never happy.
