Ballyporeen Community Council would like to thank all those who took part in this year’s St Patrick’s Day parade. This was our thirty first parade and without the participation of local clubs, schools individuals and business it could not happen.

A special word of thanks to the judges, Margaret Doherty and Sheena Mullally, to the James Fitzgerald Brass and Reed Band from Mitchelstown, to the Civil Defence for ensuring everything ran smoothly, to the MC for the day, Frank Macken, the ticket sellers and all those who helped to make the day a great success. Thanks also to the dignitaries who took time out of their busy schedules to be on the reviewing stand in Ballyporeen.
