The church concert and dinner at Corrin Event Centre were highlights, the photographic exhibition 'Reeling in the Years' organised by photographer Frank Morgan a huge talking point and the family fun day lived up to its name.

All were activities organised for Rathcormac's school reunion and Gathering event and all were enjoyed by a large crowd of locals and visitors which kept the village buzzing with excitement and bustling with activity all weekend.

The individual events and activities were all very well attended, including the special historical re-enactment that was incorporated into the history walk. The church was packed on Sunday afternoon for the special reunion Mass. The rain held off for the family fun day which followed on the village green with a big entry in the fancy dress competition and the musical entertainment provided by a number of different groups was enjoyed by one and all.

Former pupils marvelled at the brand new school which replaced the one opened just across the road in 1948 as they got together to reminisce and share memories. A lot of hard work went into organising the weekend and it showed. There was something for everyone to enjoy and enjoy it they did!
