Public meeting on the future of agriculture

Pa O’Driscoll Fine Gael and Minister for Agriculture Food and the Marine Michael Creed who will attend a public meeting on the future of Irish agriculture on Monday, October 22 in Mitchelstown.

Pa O’Driscoll, the Fine Gael general election candidate for Cork East, will be hosting a public meeting on the future of Irish agriculture on Monday, October 22 in The Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown. 

Michael Creed, the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, will be attending to address the meeting on issues such as the future of the Common Agricultural Policy and Brexit.

Speaking to The Avondhu, Mr O’Driscoll said the meeting is an opportunity for those involved in agriculture to hear directly from the minister on the future direction of the industry.

“Any issues and concerns that people have with regard to the future of CAP or the potential impact of Brexit, can be raised directly with Minister Creed on the night.”

The meeting will be held at 8pm, on Monday, October 22 in the Firgrove Hotel.
