Public avail of free ‘waste’ collection facility

Members of the public took full advantage of an electrical recycling day, held in Corrin Event Centre (Corrin Livestock Mart) last Saturday.

The event, held in conjunction with WEEE Ireland and Cork County Council, succeeded in collecting several tonnes of material.

For those with ‘clutter issues’, or those with problematic electrical goods (anything with a lead), this was the perfect opportunity to offload them at no cost.
