Is This Your Slipper??
Rumour has it that Prince Charming will be out and about in Fermoy town on this Saturday morning. He’s a man on a mission, looking to find his one true love. Apparently, a beautiful and mysterious Princess turned up at a recent ball hosted by the Prince. Unfortunately, she had to leave by midnight, and in her haste to leave the palace, she lost a crystal slipper (similar to the one pictured) on the way out! So, His Royal Highness (a fierce nice fella, by all accounts) has vowed to try the slipper on every woman in the kingdom until he finds his Princess! Now, the Prince won’t be alone . . . he’ll have a news reporter and a film crew in tow, and he’s hoping that as many ladies as possible will try on the slipper.
The Avondhu asked Kevin McCormack, the producer of ‘Cinderella’ (which runs at Corrin Event Centre in January), if he has anything to do with Prince Charming’s visit to Fermoy, and he said he couldn’t possibly comment. “I can’t possibly comment.” he said.
If you’d like to be part of the fun, make sure that you ‘just so happen’ to be around Fermoy on Saturday morning! As the saying goes: ‘It could be you!’
