Plenty interest in busking competition in Mitchelstown

Patrons weren’t left disappointed by the line-up at this year’s Indiependence Music Festival in Mitchelstown. Artists from all over Ireland and beyond entertained thousands of fans over what was a very enjoyable weekend. 

With so much emphasis on social media, busking is not the force it once was. Nevertheless, it’s still a means of showcasing talent and it was an interesting spin off from this year’s festival once again.

It took place last Saturday afternoon, with artists of varying ages, afforded an opportunity to impress a panel of judges.
