Planning permission is being sought for a 3.75 hectare solar panel farm at Ballybeg in Mitchelstown, roughly behind the Gortnahown stone quarry on lands near the Kilworth rifle range.
The planing was sought on 31st May but planning documentation is still not available to publicly view.
Submissions can be made on the plans, once the paperwork is deemed in order and if it passes the pre-application stage, until the 4th July.
